This is to notify you of the 2024 New York State assessments that will begin in early April. Please see the dates for each assessment by grade level.

Grade 5

● ELA computer based assessment – Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th

● Math computer based assessment – Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th

● Science computer based assessment – Wednesday, May 15th

Grade 6

● ELA paper based assessment – Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th

● Math paper based assessment – Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 8th

Grade 7

● ELA paper based assessment – Thursday, April 11th and Friday, April 12th

● Math paper based assessment – Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 8th

Grade 8

● ELA computer based assessment – Tuesday, April 16th and Wednesday, April 17th

● Math computer based assessment – Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th

● Science computer based assessment – Wednesday, May 15th

All students should arrive early to school for each assessment as it promotes optimal testing conditions for all. If students are absent on these testing dates, they will be provided an opportunity to take a make-up exam within the prescribed time.
