Welcome Back Schuylerites!

You didn’t attend Philippa Schuyler Middle School if you haven’t heard our school motto, “To Whom Much Is Given, Much Is Required,” several times throughout your Schuyler experience. Hearing this motivational phrase throughout life has probably brought back several Schuyler memories for you.

We are working diligently to connect and engage all Philippa Schuyler Alumni to continue the lifelong connection with their beloved middle school through educational, cultural, social and community service activities.

Philippa Schuyler Middle School for the Gifted and Talented has been a part of the Brooklyn community since 1977, often referred to as one of the jewels of Bushwick. This school has served as a support for gifted and talented inner city families for over four decades, pushing our students towards high academic and social achievements. Our alumni are spread across the globe in various industries from film and music production, to engineering, and some even returned to teach the future generations of Schuyler Alumni.
